sCoreForge Pathfinder Character Creator

This Pathfinder character creation project started in March of 2011. Created by players, for players. It's mainly a huge Excel file with macros to help you build characters based on Pathfinder core rules and also most of the other books. The project is hosted on SourceForge. There you will also find a spell sheet and other tools. The project officially supports Windows and Mac OS. Make sure to enable macros when you open the file.

Javascript Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition Character Generator

This JavaScript character generator is definitely a great tool. You should be warned though that it may take some time to your browser to load the entire script. Even if it is not perfect, it is a very nice tool and should absolutely be given a try. We suggest that you use our online dice roller with it.

Redblade 3.5e

The well known program Redblade is back with its new version for D&D 3.5 Edition. Still one of the best character generators, it allows you to build a complete character in 10 minutes. It also lets you create new classes, weapons, races, spells...

D&D Manager (for Mac OS X)

D&D Manager is an application for keeping track of Dungeons and Dragons characters, spells and their related properties including weapons, skills and feats. Also allows quick character creation and the creation of template characters. You can also run battles between the characters with special ability support, spells, including casting of summoning and ability changing spells, and one, two and multiple weapon attacks. Characters can also have one of the built in, or custom character classes and spells can also now belong to them.

This brand new built program is one of the best we've seen for AD&D 2nd Edition. You can easily create PCs or NPCs, add proficiencies, skills and spells. You can also make your own custom weapons, manage magic items, and a lot more! A great tool!

Note from the author: Character update wizard is functioning great, however, it can't save characters at the moment. The spellbook and prayerbook are partially complete: they can save a book for a character but not print them on paper.

This program is the AD&D 2nd Edition version of the first character generator shown up here. Even if it's an older version, it's an excellent program, and you sure should give it a try!
