Created by the mage Amson to annoy fire based creatures, endless quicksand conjures a large bucket of wet sand over the target. The bucket pours wet sand onto the target for the spell's duration or until it is either cancelled by the mage or is affected by dispel magic. The only way to escape the bucket of sand is to use magic such as dimension door and teleportation.
The wet sand will cause fire based creatures such as efreet and fire elementals 1d6 hp of dmg each round. The wet sand is sufficient to extinguish such spells as flaming spheres and burning hands. A target having sand poured on him has a penalty of -2 to all rolls and requires 10% longer to cast spells. He receives a +4 bonus to all saves against fire. Fire based attacks will be reduced by -1 per die of damage.
The material component of this spell is a packet of wet sand.
