This spell creates a glowing shield much like the clerical spell spiritual hammer (tsr) creates a weapon. The shield is a glowing, translucent, medium, shield +1. The purpose of this spell is rather obviouse. It is a very helpful spell when a character finds him/herself bathing, eating in the local tavern, or when your shield is made usless by dragon fire; basicly any time the character's armaments are not close at hand. It is also a great spell for low level adventurers with no magical armor.
