Spell description
This spell is an improved version of the lightning bolt spell. The main difference is the damage done. The damage caused is 1d8+2 per lvl of the caster,(maximum 20d8+40). In all other respects it is the same as the third level lightning bolt spell (PHB p194).
The material componet is a rod made of a precious gem(5000gp value at least), which is not consumed in the casting.
