A bolt of shimmering green light leaves the casters finger tip and connects to the subject (like a harpoon). The subject who saves takes 2d6 points of damage but the link is broken, else the subject thinks than their spin has been crushed by a harpoon, severing the spinal cord. They will collapse on the
floor and will remain paralysed by the caster for the duration of the spell or if they remain within the range of the spell. While the link is active the subject will take 1d6 points of damage every round.
The caster requires a piece of spinal cord from the same race as the subject, this is used on completion of the spells duration(it must be held in the left hand while the right points).
Note - the caster can not cast other spells while holding this link. If attacked while the link is up the caster must roll wisdom(willpower) -6 to keep link active.
