Spell description

This spell is similar to the spell Minor Shield of Disintegration. The difference here is that the result is not always constant. When a hit is scored upon the protected character damage is calculated normally, however the DM roles a d4, this is to determine the effects of the spell upon the attacker. The result is taken from the table below:

  1. Weapon must save vs. disintegration or be destroyed. (As Minor Shield of Disintegration).
  2. Attacker must save vs. spells or all his/her equipment is affected by disintegration (save for all equipment, evn that within pouches, backpacks, etc.).
  3. Attacker must save vs. death magic or be disintegrated.
  4. A wild surge is triggered with the attacker being the target.

The material components of the spell are a small amount of acid that is put in a circle around the person to be protected.
