Spell description

This spell summons a freezing globe of ice from Cania, the eighth layer of Baator. The sphere is created within twenty yards of the caster and can roll wherever the caster directs, at a rate of 30 feet per round. It always stays parallel to the surface it is on, constantly hovering four feet in the air. Creatures coming in contact with the globe must save vs. spell or suffer 2d6 plus one point per caster level of freezing damage. Those with in five feet of the sphere must also save, or suffer 1d6 points of damage. Anyone within ten feet must do the same or suffer 1d4 damage as the air freezes around them. Creatures that do not need air are unaffected by the latter two effects. Saving throws can be adjusted if there is little room to dodge the sphere. The center of the sphere is rock-solid dry ice, and can be used to batter obstacles or unwilling creatures aside. The battering damage causes an additional 1d4 damage.
