A tearing scatter of sharp crystals come forth in a beam from the casters hand. Either one target right before the caster is hit by all the crystals or the beam form a 50-foot long and 5-foot wide wedge. The crystal spray makes 1d8 points of damage per two levels of the caster (up to 5d8). On a succesful save creatures in the wedge suffer only half the amount but if one target is hit there is no save. After the spray all the crystal pieces remain (whether in the flesh of the victims or just lying on the floor). Material component is a piece of crystal from a Pomonas Crystal Spray, which is not expended, or a dussin or more gems of crystallic form, with a total value of no less than 1000 gp, which are destroyed.
