Why not use Dropbox or Google Drive?

That's a legitimate question. Even if these really popular services are indeed useful to host and share documents of all kinds, they are, of course, not adapted to D&D and Pathfinder RPG resources. ADnD Downloads lists your creations with metadata such as game, edition, name, description, realm, language, etc. This makes it easy for everyone to find your published resources. You get a download count for each creation, and last but not least, each one gets its own unique and easy to read address.

But there is more, because new features are on the way. Features like building a list of your favorite resources to find them faster, or rating creations to make the best ones stand out. We won't promise you the Moon here, but we will keep on developing new features, that's a truth!

How safe is this?

First of all, the connection between your browser and ADnD Downloads is always secured. It is right now. We use a highly encrypted, A+ rated certificate/server settings combination. Feel free to test it at Qualys SSL Labs. Second of all, your account's password is always used and stored in its encrypted form, using today's best encryption algorightms. Long story short: it's safe enough!
